This Privacy Policy explains how Zakhar Maksim Podyakov, IE, doing business as Boldify ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Clovet mobile application and related services (the "Service").
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.
1. Who is responsible for your data

2. Information we collect
Information you provide
Account information: email address, display name, authentication identifiers, and profile information received from Google or Apple when you choose those sign-in options.
Wardrobe content: photos of clothing you upload, outfit layouts, folders, preferences, and related metadata you create in the app.
Profile and styling preferences: optional information you provide during onboarding or in settings, such as gender and age group, used to personalize outfit suggestions.
Calendar context: if you connect a calendar, we read event titles, times, locations, and all-day flags from the selected calendar to improve outfit recommendations. We do not collect attendee lists or message content from calendar events.
Support communications: messages and information you send through in-app support or email.
Promo or feedback information: information you submit when redeeming promotions or sending feedback.
Information collected automatically
Device and app data: device model, operating system, app version, language, identifiers, IP address, and diagnostic logs.
Usage data: feature interactions, session activity, crash reports, and performance events.
Location data: approximate location only if you grant permission, used for weather context and related features.
Subscription metadata: product identifiers, subscription status, and transaction IDs received from Apple or Google to manage premium access. We do not receive your full payment card number.
Push notification tokens: if you enable notifications.
Information generated by the Service
AI-generated outputs: clothing cutouts, tags, outfit suggestions, styling comments, and other generated metadata created from your uploaded content or prompts.
Permissions you may grant
Depending on how you use the Service, the app may request access to your camera, photo library, storage, calendar, microphone (for optional support chat voice messages), location, and notifications. You can change these permissions in your device settings.
Sensitive information
We do not ask you to provide sensitive categories of personal data such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health data, or biometric identifiers for identification purposes.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
provide, maintain, and personalize the Service;
authenticate users and manage accounts;
process subscriptions and premium entitlements;
generate AI-assisted wardrobe features;
sync your data across devices and our backend;
send service-related notifications;
monitor performance, fix bugs, and prevent abuse;
analyze product usage and improve features;
respond to support requests;
comply with law and enforce our terms.
4. Legal bases (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on:
Contract: to provide the Service you request, including account, wardrobe, and subscription features.
Legitimate interests: to secure, improve, and analyze the Service, prevent fraud, and support users, balanced against your rights.
Consent: where required for optional permissions, notifications, or other choices you control in the app or device settings.
Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:
Supabase, Inc. — authentication, database, storage, and server-side processing.
Google LLC — Google Sign-In, Firebase analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, remote configuration, and Google Cloud AI (Gemini).
Apple Inc. — Sign in with Apple, App Store billing on iOS, and Apple Calendar when you enable calendar import on iOS.
Google Play / Google LLC — Play Store billing on Android and Google Calendar when you connect Google Calendar.
PostHog, Inc. — product analytics.
Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) — error monitoring and diagnostics.
Crisp IM SAS — in-app customer support chat.
Professional advisers and authorities — legal, compliance, accounting, or law-enforcement requests where required.
Business transfers — merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Our use of Google user data received through Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including Limited Use requirements.
6. Artificial intelligence features
Some features use artificial intelligence to analyze wardrobe photos, text prompts, and styling context. To provide these features, we may send relevant content and metadata to Google Cloud AI (Gemini) through our backend infrastructure.
AI outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them as professional advice. You must not use AI features in violation of provider terms or applicable law.
7. International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live, including the United States and European Economic Area. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
When you delete your account or content, we delete or anonymize information within a reasonable period, except where backup copies, legal requirements, or legitimate business needs require limited retention.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You can:
update account details in the app where available;
delete your account in Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes your account and associated data from our systems within a reasonable period;
manage permissions in device settings;
disable push notifications in the app or device settings;
cancel subscriptions through Apple or Google;
request account deletion or privacy help by emailing hi@boldify.tech.
EEA / UK residents
You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Our lead contact for privacy requests is hi@boldify.tech.
United States residents
Depending on your state, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise rights, email hi@boldify.tech. We will verify requests as required by law.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Service may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last updated" date and, where required, provide additional notice.
